California Mobility Center picks Depot Park for HQ

The California Mobility Center, a public-private partnership to foster development of mobility technology, will establish its headquarters in the next few months at Sacramento's Depot Park.


The Mobility Center will occupy 25,000 square feet of the center at the park on Fruitridge Road in the Power Inn Road area, in a sublease from the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. SMUD will occupy about 18,000 square feet at the same location. Both entities will occupy one building with SMUD as the primary leaseholder, with the center's operations beginning by Oct. 1.
